Trustworthy, skilled, and reliable. I drive quite a ways out of my way to take my truck to these guys and will continue to do so. During one of my first experience with this shop, they inadvertently cracked my driver's side view mirror such that I probably wouldn't have noticed it for a while yet they immediately notified me, ordered the OEM part, and replaced the damaged mirror with a new one with no BS or excuse. In addition after a timing belt replacement the actual mechanic that did the work made a follow-up phone call to me to check if I had any issues or complaints--completely unprompted by me. Very good business and customer service and never a complaint on the work.

Couldnt even give me a quote over the phone on what tune up would cost. Stated there are no more tune ups but wanted to see thr car for minor inspection even after i told him i need plugs, belts, trans, hoses. Minor inspection includes break check, slooking at the starter, power on battery. Why didnt this guy go with what i was trlling him i needed. Dishonest mechanics

Nicholas, you inquired about a list of items that you wanted a quote for on your car. As I explained today when you called, I wanted to give you an honest answer but it's impossible to provide an accurate estimate on a vehicle that we haven't inspected before. There are just too many options on a vehicle these days to provide an honest estimate. I can't see how I could be more honest than that. Any estimate over the phone without seeing the vehicle is just a blind or "guess" estimate at best. We feel our clients deserve accurate answers to their questions. I'm sorry that I couldn't give you what you wanted to here and I'm sure there are plenty of other shops who will gladly give you a made up number just to get you into the shop. That rarely ends well and doesn't make for a good experience for the client. I hardly see how a one star review and making the dishonest accusation is justified merely due to your mood today. None the less, we still wish you well and hope you find a shop that meets your needs.

I've had a lot of work done by these guys on my Infiniti G35 6mt coupe over the past year or so. For example, all new shocks, new clutch, new flywheel, new pedal assembly, oil changes, etc., etc. and all of it has been done professionally and I can say unequivoically that you won't find a better place to take your car in for repair work (big or small) or for preventative maintenance. These guys are professional. They know what they're doing and will treat you with respect and courtesy.

Doc and the crew made me feel welcome. My power steering fluid was leaking badly. They saved the non-leaking metal hoses and just replaced the leakers. Saved my serious money. Thanks guys.

My Subaru Forester that has no leak, developed a small oil leak while I was visiting in the Sacramento area recently. Was able to get the car into Made in Japan pretty quickly to have it checked out, and it turned out to be a fairly big deal. They took great pictures of the whole problem having to do with the read struts, and looked the car over carefully all while I waited. It did not take very long and they provided their assessment for me and for my mechanic at home. The issue was not a safety one, so I opted to get it fixed by my usual shop at home, but would have had no concerns letting the folks at Made in Japan work on it after their great care diagnosing the problem, if it had been something that needed to be done for me to finish my trip. Great crew.

I am incredibly happy with the service rendered here at made in Japan made in America! They took their time to really diagnose and fix my car they were extremely honest and knowledgeable. Upon initial inspection they found signs pointing to the need of a new motor. They went over options with my husband and I and we decided to go ahead with the replacement. The next day I got a call that they brought the owner in and did some more diagnostic tests and more investigating and thought they found an explanation to what they initially found and that I would not need to replace my engine. To me this really proved I picked the right shop! We already signed papers for the replacement but they went beyond my expectations and continued to seek answers and saved me a ton of money when they didn’t need to. The friendliness, honesty, speed of service, integrity, and genuine people at made in Japan made in America is immeasurable and I would highly recommend this shop to everyone! Thank you guys again!
