After an initial review to was decided that my 98 jeep needed a new alternator and a battery recharge. So far the work on the alternator appears to be done satisfactory. The battery was recharged and terminal posts cleaned. What was lacking was a good cleaning of the battery cable connectors. Corrosion still existed a this will continue to grow. My expectation from any shop is that this should be done if I'm paying for the labor. Maybe this may seem trivial to some but not to old geezers like me. I'll be back to have it corrected.
